We had a really great Thanksgiving this year...even with all the sicknesses going around! My mom was in town for a week and with her help and the help of Debbie & Nicky (even though they were sick..God Bless them!) we had a feast at our house. We also had our friends Matt and Anais join us for dinner. We had a great day!!
Pre-dinner in his Lions gear (it didn't help..they still lost!)
Check out his eye....James got his first shiner the week before.

Mom & Jake stuffing the turkey. It was pretty funny to watch. I'll be sure to post the video.
James watched the Macy's Thanksgiving parade while we prepared for the day. He LOVED the Broadway routines. (Like mommy, like son!)

The pre-dinner spread..SO good!

Don't mess with a boy and his turkey bone!

Post-dinner fullness : )

Then a little activity to get ready for dessert.

Despite the stress of this quarter and all the illness going around our home, Jake, James and I continue to be positive and upbeat. We know just how fortunate we are to live the life we do and are so incredibly thankful for all the blessings God continues to grant us. We have an amazing family..James is a beakon of light when our days are stressful. Jake and I continue to grow as a couple and love each other more everyday. We owe the world to Debbie & Nicky for the sacrifices they have made to help us raise James. We are eternally grateful!! We are thankful for all our family and friends for all of their support. Our health, our home..everything we have we are so thankful for. We hope you and your family enjoyed Thanksgiving and we look forward to Christmas in Florida and New Year's in Boston!
