We had such a great visit with Yaya in town! We spent MOST of the weekend in our pj's and we listened to ALOT of Christmas music. Here is a quick but very cute video of James.

Dance Team

For those of you that do not know..this quarter I joined the Life University Dance Team.

We practice 2 days a week/2 hours per practice and perform at the Basketball Team's home games.  It has been a great experience and will continue through the basketball season until April.  I was also asked to be dance captain so I help to run the practices.  This past Thursday was my first game!!!

Stefanie & Jacob's Visit

Stefanie and Baby Jacob came to visit last week for 8 days and it was wonderful.  We had not seen them since we last visited them this past April in Destin Florida.  The boys had a BLAST together. We went shopping, had a campfire, cooked dinner, laughed, watched Nemo, acted like goofballs, they came to watch me at the basketball game and we went out to eat.  We were sad to see them leave but know we will NOT wait 6 months to see each other again!

Spending Time at the Newton's

We have been so fortunate that with Jake's parents out of town and with Jake and I having classes and midterms, Lindsey has been kind enough to watch James.  She certainly had her hands full last week with watching James and Zooey!  Here are a few cute pictures...our children are growing up SO fast!

We introduced James to oatmeal this week and he LOVES IT! This morning James showed Daddy how he can eat an entire bowl with a spoon (all by himself.)

Brunch with the Newton Family

Saturday morning we visited our friends Adam, Lindsey and Joshua.  It had been quite awhile since we got to visit last and we had such a good time.  James and Joshua had a blast playing, wrestling and watching Backyardigins!  Lindsey made an awesome french toast casserole and turkey bacon.  There was a lot of catching up and laughs.  It was a great visit..thanks for FINALLY getting us over to your house Lindsey.

Halloween Pictures

We had an awesome Halloween!  We started the evening around 4 p.m. with pumpkin carving.  We then had dinner and soon after hit the road for trick-or-treating!  We had a blast!  James had the opportunity to ride in the wagon with Lance, but it only lasted for about 5 minutes...he was determined to keep up with the big kids and walk.  We then came back about 8:00.  Got the babies to bed, and the rest of us had a bonfire and made yummy smores.  As it got a bit later, we settled the older kids with movies and the adults sat by the fire, drank beers and listened to Nicky & Hailey play the guitar and sing.  It was such a great evening!!
