New Years in New England

We flew to MA the day after Christmas!  The weather was much colder but with snow on the ground we were happy to be there!
Our trip to Ma was an awesome trip.  We spent most of our time visiting with family and friends..as well as a lot of hanging out relaxing.

New Year's Eve was spent with Dean & Deanna and of course Argos!  There was a small snow storm but that didn't keep us from going out.  Me, Jake, James and Yaya made our way through the snow to Dean & Deanna's.  There we had a quiet but very fun New Year's Eve.  We ate Chinese Food, had yummy cheesecake for dessert and watched a movie.  At Midnight we toasted with some bubbly and finished the movie.  It was really fun spending the night with them and having a sleep over.  In the morning we relaxed and Jake and I spent some time with Argos (our first nephew : ) ).

We had to bribe James with crackers to get him to wear a winter hat.

James got a set of huge Nemo & Friends stuffed animals from his aunt & uncle!

Haha Dean I got a tiara on Argos!!!

Christmas In Florida

After Jake and I finished finals we packed up the car with Nicky and drive to Florida through the night of Dec. 19th. (Debbie flew down 2 days prior)
It was a very eventful car ride.  James had been battling some congestion so attempting to sleep in the car seat was not an option.  So against everything I have believed in we rode to Florida the last 8 hours with James lying in my lap.  We got there safe and sound around 5:30 a.m. .  Needless to say we crashed until 1:30 p.m.
Despite the rough car ride..our vacation in Florida was great!  We got to relax, shop, eat, visit the beach and celebrate Christmas with family.  The weather was perfect and seeing James spend time with Grandpa Edmonds was wonderful!  They really bonded this trip!!!

James had a great time with his 2nd cousins.

He was trying to dance with them as they performed High School Musical for us!
