James' Christening

For those of you who did not know...Jake and myself along with our wonderful family and friends had James Christened on December 29th, 2007 over our Christmas break. He was Christened at the Greek Orthodox Church in Arlington, MA by our wonderful priest Fr. Nick. It was such a beautiful service. James did such a great job and was such a little angel. Fr. Nick told us that in the 23 years he has been baptizing children..never has he seen a baby sit in the baptimal font like James did. I guess he thought he was getting his bath!!!
His Godparents to assist the priest in the service were Nick and Tanya Stamoulis and Andy O'Donnell. Jake and I could not be more happy about having these 3 wonderful individuals as James' Godparents. They have been dear friends to us for many years and now this makes us family.
After the Christening we had a sit down lunch at the Wincester Country Club. The food was great and Tanya's brother dj'ed for us. It was a perfect afternoon filled with so much love from our family and friends. It was a very special day welcoming James into the Greek Orthodox Faith. We know his name-sake was present with us sending special blessings from God.

Jake and I are so thankful for all the work that was put into this memorable day. My mom, Tanya and her mom worked so hard to make this special...thankyou thankyou, thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!
